So, my father didn’t want to write the post, but he said he would let you in on his secret to creating his glorious Filet Mignon Shish kabobs. Talk about amazing food, these tasty kabobs melt in your mouth and flood your senses with all that’s good.

Ingredient List:

  • 1 lb – filet mignon
  • 1/color – green, yellow + red bell peppers
  • 1 – red onion
  • 1 – white onion
  • 1 – large tomato
  • 1 – 12 oz. bottle of Thomas Marinade (available at Fresh Market – if you’re in Central Florida)
  • Skewers
  • Large container for marinating

Step 1 – Prepping

After trimming your filet mignon, cut it into bite-sized chunks. Once you’re done with the filet mignon, cut your vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

Then, start skewering your meat and veggies in a pattern that satisfies you.

Step 2 – Marinating

Submerge kabobs into marinade and leave overnight to marinate.

Step 3 – Grilling

Set your grill to 350 degrees and grill for 8-10 minutes on each side.

We enjoyed the kabobs over Memorial Day weekend (while social distancing), but this item is an excellent idea for low-stress entertaining (grilling, date night, etc.).
