When In Palm Beach….

In a word, Palm Beach, Florida, is unforgettable. I’ve visited the town many times, and somehow, I never tire of its beauty. For me, it is a place where you can let the cares of life trickle off of you, as you soak up sights, serenity, sumptuous eats, and last but not least, sun 🌞.

So, I know you’re wondering why I’m yammering on about vacationing when many of us have been on pause for a month or more. It is because we will eventually get back to normal (or some version of it) in the coming days, and vacationing will return to your list of must-dos.

FOR NOW, HERE ARE 6 WORTHWHILE STOPS, WHEN IN PALM BEACH:

01 | THE BREAKERS PALM BEACH

If luxury and relaxation had a child (bear with me, butterfly!), it would very likely be called The Breakers. The Breakers is the epitome of old-world luxury. The hotel’s grounds cover a whopping 140 acres and gently rush out to meet the Atlantic Ocean. If you aren’t able to spend a night (or a week here), be sure to consider its dining options.

02 | EARL E.T. SMITH PRESERVATION PARK

Featuring a sparkling indigo fountain and flora for days, this little piece of gloriousness is not to be missed. If you’re a history buff, it might surprise you to know that this place was once a parking lot.

03 | HENRY MORRISON FLAGLER MUSEUM – WHITEHALL

No trip to Palm Beach is complete until you’ve had a chance to visit Whitehall. Whether you’re interested in the historical aspects or you simply enjoy musing over the decor of a 100,000 square-foot mansion, Whitehall will not disappoint.

05 | BETHESDA BY THE SEA

Noted as the oldest house of worship in Palm Beach, Bethesda-By-The-Sea, is also one of the most beautiful places of worship. In addition to its many religious offerings, the church also offers tours.

06 | THE BEACHES

Need I say more? No, but I will. Beaches in Palm Beach are…Pristine. Turquoise. Unspoiled. Amazing!

The list is above is not complete. In future posts or an update of this post, I will detail many of the other notable and worthwhile stops in Palm Beach – including Worth Avenue (which deserves its very own post)! Stay tuned…
