Over the last few days, I’ve really started to notice how much life has been impacted by coronavirus. At times, it can be a bitter pill, but I’m hoping this week’s top 3 will help to bring a little joy and perspective to our daily lives. Here goes…

01 | Airbnb Online Experiences:

I think most people are craving something different to do these days. Airbnb has answered that call with its Online Experiences. I stumbled upon the site while planning a getaway and felt pretty impressed by the offerings. The experiences range from online cooking lessons with notable chefs to storytime for kiddos. Many of the offerings are also easy on the budget, which is definitely a plus.

02 | What I read (again) this month:

Full transparency: I read The Obstacle Is The Way* back in 2017 because my Mom had mentioned some of the benefits of practicing stoicism. On the first read, the book didn’t resonate with me but fast-forward to 2020, and I really connected to the message.

This book is an introduction to stoicism and encourages readers to use life’s challenges to bring out the best in themselves (and others). I wouldn’t call it a light read, but it is undoubtedly worthwhile.

03| Talbots T-shirts:

I must admit that I’m obsessed with Talbot’s tees. I purchased the Cotton Bateau Neck Tee- Beautiful Blossom, shown in the photo above, and then got hooked. I have purchased several more since. Talbot’s tees are a perfect combination of refined wear and comfort. I pair the t-shirts under blazers when I’m working and with jeans on the weekend.

What things are you doing to maintain your joy? I’d love to hear from you.
