This week went by like a blur…but if I’m candid, most of this year has been a blur for me. I feel like I’ve fallen into a routine of getting up, eating breakfast, and dressing for some form of videoconference meeting.
Every week, I try to break the monotony (a little) by incorporating small breaks for myself and doing something I enjoy for a few minutes, in between meetings. It helps me to not lose my cool, when more drama than should be going on, goes on in meetings.
My top 3 for this week are simple but things that made me feel good:
01 | DeLight Patisserie
I love to give gifts that folks will truly enjoy. I stumbled upon DeLight Patisserie by accident and thought it was one of the most thoughtful gift ideas I’ve seen in a bit. This online bakery personalizes vanilla shortbread cookies (yum!) and offers pre-made boxes for post-quarantine, as well as, baby + mommy boxes.
02 | Classic Egg Salad
If it has been awhile since you had egg salad, then give yourself a lunch or dinner option that won’t let you down. This classic egg salad by Skinnytaste is amazing. It was so good, I had it at least a couple of times this week.
03 | Ten Percent Happier Podcast
If you’re into mindfulness, meditation, and finding ways to deal with the cares of life, this podcast gets a definite thumbs up. I like that the podcasts offer so much useful information and run from approximately 10 minutes to an hour or more.
