As the holidays approach, I’ve been putting in some extra hours at the office in preparation for some time off this month.  It has been a little hectic but I’ve forged through and now the weekend is HERE!!

While I’m staying local, I’ve got a few things on my radar to pick up and check out.

Chicken Guy 

If you’ve had Guy’s burgers 🍔…then you know the bar is set pretty high for his new venture in Winter Park.  I believe the grand opening was just a little over a week ago so I’m eager to get in there and try things out.

PJs, of course…

I have a lot of favorites but if I had to shave my list down, PJs would always make the cut.  I’m a fan of all sorts of PJs in a broad range of fabrics and prints but, for me, they must be comfortable and affordable.  My latest find came about during a recent stroll through AERIE.  I’m in my 40s but I love that their youthful brand not only fits me well but checks the boxes for comfort and affordability.  I picked up this cute romper and literally lived in it all week…(not lying 🤥).  For under $25, this was a deal I couldn’t pass up.

Netflix 

I haven’t been watching a lot of television lately but The Unforgivable on Netflix caught my attention. I kinda fell into this movie without knowing much about it and couldn’t stop watching.  I usually don’t like movies with such a serious tone on the weekend but this movie gets a solid vote for a worthwhile watch…in my book.  Sandra Bullock’s character was phenomenal and the plot had just the right amount of emotional drama to keep you hooked.  Even though the movie had some pretty intense moments, I liked that the conclusion left me feeling content.
